The Classes of the 1970's is having a reunion. Milestone classes for this reunion is 1970 at 40 years and 1975 at 35 years. All classes are invited for this weekend of fun to celebrate with these classes! Come see old friends and be with family members that attended in the 1970s. What fun this will be! We would love to have you there!

We are raising money to support this event, so we can cut the cost you will have to pay. So far we have Tupperware set up. They have a list of items that are reasonably priced that you can purchase and 40% of that purchase from those items will come back to the Reunion funds. This is the link:

You can break up purchases and have until August 21, 2010 to purchase tickets to the reunion and any events around the reunion. Everbrite did add a fee for administering this and because our budget is so tight for this that fee is added to the cost of your tickets for events. We do not have much flexibility on price, as we have cut the price to the minimum already.
The fees is minimal, but they are charged for each event.

Fees for the reunion itself on 9/18/10 will increase according to this: $35 per person from now until July 15, 2010; then $45 per person until August 21, 2010; and $55 per person at the door. Friday, September 17, 2010, evening:

Possible golf tournament in the afternoon. Will provide more info as we find out more about it. If you would be interested in the tournament please email nmhsclassesof1970s@yahoo.com to let them know, so we can place that on the ticket selection at eventbrite.

Either gather a group of NMHS 1970's alumni to see Rusty Knox and his band where they are playing and/or John Barkley and the Young Ages if they are playing in the area! Have a bite to eat and possibly a few drinks! (You will be responsible for the expenses of this venture)

Saturday, September 18, 2009:

Bus/School Tour ($20 PER PERSON). You will get a tour of the school and a charter bus will take you around to all the hot spots in and around the school and Charlotte! There will be a fee for this event dependent upon demand! I will be posting more on this!

5:00 pm to 6:30 pm we will be a socializing time. 7:30 to whenever we will do group photos (all classes and then the whole group) that will be available for you to purchase separately ($10 to $20). 6:30 pm food will be served. We will be having a pig picking along with BBQ, Chicken, and more! We will also have a DJ with karaoke for entertainment during this event! We may have a quiz based on the 1970s trivia, so catch up on that! Bring and share any 70's things you still have to share with all the classmates!

We will give out the usual dopey prizes, as well as a few nice one, etc. You can bring beer or wine. No other acoholic beverages will be served! This is a must about no other alcohol! This evening is going to be a great socializing time for all!

WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ATTENDING, SHOULD THEY HAVE AN ACCIDENT EITHER AT THE FACILITY OR UPON LEAVING THE FACILITY, ESPECIALLY IF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE CONSUMED (INCLUED BEER OR WINE).

1 pm to 4 pm or so. Paradise Valley is a family setting with both a golf course, minature golf and game room, with a restaurant! If funds are raised we will have a brunch here and you can participate in whatever golf activity you and your family wants to. (You will be responsible for the games, etc. you play). If you want to donate toward a brunch for classmates, we are accepting donations for this at http://nmhsclassesofthe1970sreunion2010.eventbrite.com !

You can make donations or make payments toward the activities and reunion. If you want to pay it all that is fine, but if you want to break the cost up into payments (by paying for one event at a time) that is acceptable. We will start at Oehler's BBQ Barn with a hayride at 1:00 pm for the afternoon for the NMHS Classes of the 1970's and their families! There is a nominal charge for this of $3 per adult and $2 for children. This will have to be reserved and paid up front prior to the date of the reunion. Of course, this is dependent upon demand!
